Direct import / connection to Excel
Hello,
we are using a lot of Excel sheets for budgets and other calculations. It would be great, if we would not have to export the .csv file and import it again manually. Excel allows to connect to a lot of sources directly and retrieve the data. By this we only would need to setup the connection once and could just click "refresh" on our Excel workbook everytime we need to update our hours worked.
Thanks for this really great tool!

New role might be even simpler to implement so let's do it that way: http://mrticktock.uservoice.com/forums/167739-features-and-bugs-for-mrticktock/suggestions/10514034-add-reporting-role

Hello,
I just found out that Microsoft included the Power Query Addin in Excel 2016. So it is now possible to connect in Excel 2016 directly to the Mr. Tick Tock API. That is really cool.
There is only one catch: You need to provide credentials of an admin account, because only admins can view all hours worked. So I would propose that we create a new user role called "reporting" or similar that is just able to create reports and nothing else. Because you will want to include these credentials in your Excel sheets and surely don't want to have admin credentials for everybody to see in there.

Sounds like another great idea. Marked as "planned".
