    Good catch.

We will discuss if that could be better to switch to time format.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Can you give us more information here? What value did you have in the report and what value did you get in CSV?

Currenlty all the minutes are coverted to decimal values so the exported time is a correct number and you can quickly do a math calculation in
Excel, etc. Obviously there is some rounding happening.

Would you prefer the exported document to contain exact minute values?

    Cheers,
    Jacek

    Hello Matt,

We will add this requirement to our backlog. However due to small number of votes we can't promise any date for implementation at the moment.

May I know why your week starts on Friday? Is it your country specific?

    Thanks,
    Jacek

"On the task actions popup on the Tick-Tock view."

That would require implementing reports for individual tasks and it is not an easy one.
Unless you would like it to show data for a project (the one task belongs to).

"Maybe a link under the "Worked hour" table or even individual links next to every period (Current week,Current Month..etc)"

That should be pretty simple for projects and customers (again, there is no option to show report for individual tasks).
Would you be interested in such a feature for projects and customers?

Is it important for you to see detailed report for an individual task? We have a separate request for this feature: http://mrticktock.uservoice.com/forums/167739-features-and-bugs-for-mrticktock/suggestions/3815186-report-by-task

    Thanks,
    Jacek

    Hello Martin,

I would like to clarify this one.

Where exactly would you like to have this option? In the big task/project/customer popup? Or maybe in the small task actions popup on the Tick-Tock view?

There is an option 'Show report' for customers and projects already in the big details popup.
It is not possible to generate full report for a single task yet hence there is no such option for tasks.

    Thanks,
    Jacek

That sounds reasonably for accounts with many customers and projects.

Thank you for raising the idea.

    Hello Ceriel,

Thank you for contacting us. Your request sounds reasonable but in order to prioritize it I would like to understand how painful for you the current solution is.

Can you tell me at what time would you like to get notifications?
    Currently it is:
    * 'report reminder' - 6pm
    * 'standup - others' activity' - 1am
    * 'absence notification' - instantly

Please also note that you can change your timezone and this way change the time reminders are sent at.

    Thanks,
    Jacek

    Thank you for the report.

Indeed it seems to be a useful feature. Let us discuss the details and schedule that on the planning meeting.

    Hello Farzad,

What do you mean by 'you cannot invite'? What kind of error do you get?

If the team members already have an account in MrTickTock then they cannot reuse the same email address for different account. Please use different email addresses.

For example if member Adam has already registered in MrTickTock with address adam@gmail.com, then please invite him to your new account with adam+something@gmail.com. That will work fine.

Please let me know if that is the problem.

    Cheers,
    Jacek

    Hi Chris,

It looks like not trivial change to add and even more difficult to keep UI clean.

Could you elaborate what you mean by 'work in multiple different enivronments'?
I would like to understand if and why one would like to keep separate accounts if finally needs to merge them and access from one place.

Understanding the need will help us to find the right solution.

    Thanks,
    Jacek

    Good catch Chris.

We thought about it earlier but it is was not obvious how it should work from the UX perspective.

    Question:
If user (email) is part of more than one account how the company selection should happen? Should user be able to select company during log-in? Or maybe login should be not aware of the company and user should have some selection available (context switch) inside the application?

It should be clearly visible to the user which company is in the current context and which company data (tasks, users, time reports, etc.) is visible.

Please note that you can use different emails for different company accounts and that some email service providers (including google) allows to use tags in the local part of the email address. For instance:
    * jack+private@gmail.com can be registered in private MrTickTock account
    * jack+company@gmail.com can be registered in company MrTickTock account
while they still point to the same email jack@gmail.com

Please let us know your thoughts.

    Cheers,
    Jacek

    Hello Kelly,

Thank you for report. Actually few other customers have already asked for that feature directly and we have it in our backlog. It should be included in one of the next versions.

    Thanks,
    Jacek

    Thank you for explanation.

Regarding notifications, I believe you should get them if you confirmed your email. If not then please visit your profile and try to set it up.

Do you want 'half-day' for all options (sick, off, non-working)?

AdminMrTickTock (CEO / Founder, MrTickTock) commented  ·

    Hi Carthik,

    Thank you for the report.

Generally our approach is that half day off is just a standard, shorter day at work and it is nothing unusual. It is still possible to work few hours more next day to reach the planned workload.

I understand that half day off could be helpful but it brings some complications to the system and its UI. We are very keen to implement our users ideas but don't want to clutter the UI and make the system too complicated.

We would need to answer few questions:
    * How it could be set from UI
    * How it should look like in the time off table on Tick-Tock page
    * How it should look like in the calendar popup.
    * Should it be marked somehow on the Standup page?
    * How it should look like on the Days Off report

    Do you have any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Jacek

Users in user role can see standups for all people who works on the same project as the user recently (30 days).
The same for other users' data, projects, customers, etc.

Customer could see related standup reports.

    Previous notes:
"User in customer role can see only that page and standups for people who reported time against project related to that customer:
Select all projects related to the customers. For every project show standups for all people who reported time for selected projects in the given day. "

From customer: "The idea is to configure the application with the JIRA account details (URL of JIRA server and login).  Then, a JQL string would be entered to filter out the desired issues.  Alternatively, the name of a previously saved JIRA filter could be entered, in order to limit the quantity of issues found.  Subsequently, one would only select the JIRA issue to start logging work into, perhaps with the option to introduce comments.  In my opinion, it doesn’t make sense to try to replace JIRA in terms of changing issue status or other details.  One could think that JIRA could evolve and reduce the market for such an add-on application, but I think not, as long as the application is focused into time tracking, allowing one to manage its own timesheet."
